Richard L Tysor (B.A., Economics, Vanderbilt University; M.S. Business and Financial Management, Johns Hopkins University) recently retired as Executive Director of Academic Administration and Adjunct Professor at Stetson University. Previously, Mr. Tysor was Executive Director of the Office of Interdisciplinary Program Management for Duke University, Assistant Dean for Business and Finance at the University of North Carolina’s School of Public Health, Assistant Director of the University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute’s Center of Marine Biotechnology, senior negotiator and cost/price analyst and in various business management positions at Johns Hopkins University’s Applied Physics Laboratory and Hospital, and in major industry and charitable organizations. He has over 40 years of experience in grant seeking and proposal development and negotiations, grant/contract administration, budget, life cycle and systems/project estimating analysis, business operations management and analysis, and strategic planning with academic, military, for profit and not-for profit organizations. Mr. Tysor has worked with TerrAqua for nearly 20 years as a financial analyst and consultant on aquaculture-related projects.
